Elsie Gets A Brother

We wanted to get another dog- but discovered that Elsie was very dog aggressive!!!!  :(
We went to visit several dogs in several shelters....but could just tell she wasn't going to get along with any of them.  We saw a dog on Petrinder-  pulled from a Virginia shelter on his last day described as a setter mix, sweet and gentle, and very laid back.
We went down to Virginia to see him............and they were fine together!!!  No reaction from Elsie- not love- but ...he's OK  (of course she LOVES him now- they are VERY attatched), so he headed back to NJ with us the same day.  5 hrs to Va - and 5 hrs back!!

Elsie is one of the dogs chosen to be transported to the North East to have a better chance at adoption.  She is spayed, given tons of shots, wormed and sent to NJ

She goes to Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hannover NJ
















She has been there over 2 weeks when we adopt her
She is a skinny, dandruffy shaved girl of 24 lb, but the happiest most loving dog I think I have ever met

We take her home and name her  " LC"  Loving Comfort....................aka "Elsie"

This is the shelter that Elsie came from in 2005, nothing is known about he before that

She was called "Minnie" there. 

A beautiful Cattle Dog /Aussie/Sheltie type dog.  Loving friendly and smart as a whip.....................how could no one want her??????????????
