We went to visit several dogs in several shelters....but could just tell she wasn't going to get along with any of them. We saw a dog on Petrinder- pulled from a Virginia shelter on his last day described as a setter mix, sweet and gentle, and very laid back.
We went down to Virginia to see him............and they were fine together!!! No reaction from Elsie- not love- but ...he's OK (of course she LOVES him now- they are VERY attatched), so he headed back to NJ with us the same day. 5 hrs to Va - and 5 hrs back!!
